AURA

Overview
AURA is an AI-powered image generation mobile app built as a collaboration between Inverta and Post Social, a social media agency that Inverta had previously built an operating system for. The app enables users to generate personalised AI images of themselves in any setting, style, or scenario — from professional headshots and brand photography to creative portraits and social media content — using just two simple photos.
The concept was born during a working holiday in the Maldives after the successful delivery of Post Social's agency operating system. Post Social had already been creating extensive libraries of image prompts and AI-generated visuals for their clients' social media campaigns, and they saw an opportunity to turn that expertise into a consumer product. Inverta brought the technical execution, and together they built a production-ready iOS application in just 14 days.
AURA is currently live on the iOS App Store and is preparing for a worldwide launch by the end of the year. It represents a different side of what Inverta builds — not an internal operating system or agency tool, but a consumer-facing mobile product that showcases the full breadth of the team's capabilities across AI integration, mobile development, and rapid product delivery.
Key Features
Two-Photo Onboarding
Users upload just two photos — a close-up face shot and a full-body photo — and the AI analyses their features to generate personalised images.
5,000+ Template Library
A curated library of over 5,000 image templates spanning professional headshots, brand photography, creative portraits, and social media content.
Intelligent Model Selection
The backend automatically selects the optimal AI image generation model for each template type, ensuring the best possible output quality.
Automated Prompt Engineering
Post Social's prompt engineering expertise is encoded into the templates — users get expert-level results without any technical knowledge.
Native iOS Experience
Built as a native iOS application with clean, intuitive UX — live on the App Store and ready for worldwide distribution.
14-Day Delivery
The entire app — design, development, AI pipeline, and App Store launch — was built and shipped in just 14 days from concept to production.
The Problem
Post Social's team had invested significant time building libraries of carefully crafted image prompts — hundreds of templates designed to generate specific types of AI images for their clients' advertisements, social media posts, and personal branding content. Each prompt was engineered to produce consistent, high-quality results with specific AI image models, using particular avatar styles, compositions, and visual treatments.
But using these prompts was a painful manual process. A team member would need to find the right prompt from their collection, manually customise it for the specific client's avatar and requirements, paste it into whatever AI image generation tool they were using, generate the image, assess quality, iterate, and finally deliver the result. For an agency producing dozens of images across multiple clients every week, this workflow was a bottleneck.
They wanted a way to make this process instant and accessible — not just for their internal team, but for anyone. The vision was a mobile app where users could simply take two photos, browse a massive library of pre-built image templates, select the ones they liked, and get AI-generated images that placed them into those scenarios convincingly and beautifully. No prompt engineering, no technical knowledge, no iteration required.
The Solution
Inverta and Post Social built AURA from the ground up as a native iOS mobile application. The user experience is deliberately simple: a user takes or uploads two photos — a close-up face photo and a full-body photo — and then browses a library of over 5,000 template images across categories like professional headshots, brand photography, creative portraits, social media content, and more.
When the user selects a template, the backend system takes over with an intelligent processing pipeline. The system analyses the user's uploaded avatar photos to understand their facial features, build, and characteristics. It then dynamically fills in the template's prompt parameters with information extracted from the avatar analysis, selecting the optimal AI image generation model for that particular template type and generating the final image.
The intelligence is in the backend — Post Social's expertise in prompt engineering is encoded into the template library, and Inverta's technical architecture handles the model selection, parameter filling, and image generation pipeline. Different templates may use different AI models depending on what produces the best results for that particular style. The user never needs to know any of this — they just pick a template and get a result.
The entire application — frontend, backend, AI pipeline, App Store submission, and launch — was completed in 14 days. It launched as a fully production-ready iOS app, not a prototype or MVP. The template library continues to grow, and the app is being prepared for a global launch that will open it to users worldwide by the end of the year.
